Here’s a quick synopsis about me.

My grandparents immigrated to the United States via Southern Italy. As luck would have it, they decided Greenwich Connecticut would be their home.

When I was about 5, I had three professions in mind, a circus clown, Buck Owens or a famous painter. I pursued the latter, graduating from the CT Institute of Art. Then working in Norwalk, CT as a graphic designer.

In 1992 I scored a job teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in Bogotá – Colombia. It was there that I discovered two hidden talents – writing and teaching. I got a gig writing the sports section for the now defunct Colombian Post. Then, around 1995 I sold my first written piece to International Living on “How to Get a Job Teaching English in Colombia.”

In December of 1996, I moved back to Connecticut in search of a copywriter job. I got a break at Clarion Marketing and Communications in Greenwich, CT. My first direct mail piece was for Fleet Bank’s home equity line of credit. It became their control piece for 3 years.

Since that time, I’ve worked my way through both agencies and client-side in Akron, Boston, New York City, Chicago, Las Vegas, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville and West Palm Beach Florida.

I fell madly in love with being a senior copywriter. It’s amazing when I can make a difference for my clients here in Florida and beyond.
